The Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc “Helan Mountains” from Château Changyu Moser is produced in China and was the first winemaking reality in the country. The winery was founded in 1982 by Zhang Bishi, a diplomat who, thanks to his work travels, had observed various winemaking realities in Europe and America: he imported more than 500,000 plants, giving rise to modern wine production in China, supported by the Austrian August Wilhelm Baron Von Babo. Today, the activity continues to grow and expand, also thanks to the presence of Italian and American investors. It also focuses a lot on ecological and cultural tourism related to the world of wine. In 2015, the Moser family bought some company shares and made available their thirty years of experience in the sector.
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes of the “Helan Mountains” Blanc from Château Changyu Moser have an excellent solar exposure for complete growth and maturation, and the soils are fertile and regularly irrigated, thanks to the waters of the Yellow River that originate from uncontaminated Tibetan springs.untouched. The mountain on the north-east side protects the vineyards from sudden spring frosts, but burial practices with sand and soil are used to prevent particularly cold temperatures in winter. During the harvest, only the best grapes are selected; in the winery, a white winemaking process occurs with red grapes and an alcoholic fermentation in steel; it ages under strict supervision in steel for several months.
The Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc "Helan Mountains" from Château Changyu Moser appears in the glass with a straw yellow color and brilliant reflections; on the nose, there are hints of exotic fruit and citrus notes including grapefruit. On the palate, the structure is balanced and fresh, with a unique and inimitable character. It pairs perfectly with first courses based on fish or vegetables, vegetarian dishes, and fresh cheeses. It is an excellent product that comes from a land with enormous potential to be enjoyed during family lunches, to share a wine that is the result of experienced work and attention to detail.
