The Catarratto "Macerato" by Ferracane is an orange wine from the Marsala area macerated on the skins for 17 days. Notes of citrus peel, ripe fruit, almond, and hints of honey and vanilla intertwine on a rich and warm structure, with a refreshing zest and a slight tannic accent.
