The Champagne Brut Réserve by Charles Heidsieck is the label that expresses the quintessence of the Maison's style, in its purest and most elegant form. It is a classic cuvée of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier with great aromatic richness and taste persistence. A prestigious glass that combines evolved and complex notes with a pleasant mineral freshness. A bottle suitable for accompanying an important dinner throughout the meal.
The Brut Réserve Heidsieck is a great Champagne that the historic Maison of Reims loves to summarize in three emblematic numbers: 60, 40, 10. The number 60 represents the cru of the estate strictly selected to be part of the cuvée: all vinified separately, grape by grape, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier. The number 40 indicates the high percentage of reserve wines of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that are part of the cuvée to enrich the vintage and expand its complexity and depth. Finally, the number 10 represents the average age of the reserve wines: all Champagnes chosen from the best crus and the best vintages, jealously preserved in the cellar, like a true treasure of the Maison. After the gentle pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The vins clairs age in steel undergoing malolactic fermentation and are then blended to create the final cuvée. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle according to the Méthode Campenoise. It ages on the lees for at least 36 months in the ancient cellars of the Maison carved into the chalk.
The Champagne Brut Réserve is the most representative label of the Charles Heidsieck Champagne range. It is the bottle of the Maison that marks the stylistic continuity of the brand over time. Thanks to the use of reserve wines, it presents its face and charm unchanged every year. In the glass, it has a light yellow color with brilliant golden reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet is elegant and complex, with fragrant notes of freshly baked pain brioche, aromas of ripe yellow fruit, apricot, tropical hints of mango, dried fruit, and toasted sensations.toasted. The sip is deep and rich, with great aromatic persistence, featuring ripe fruit, hints of vanilla, and a finish of lively citrus freshness.
