It is a bottle created specifically for the 250th anniversary of its founding, presented with a yellow fabric packaging that allows the Champagne to be kept at the perfect temperature. An elegant and technological solution created specifically for the occasion. A traditional cuvée, made with the three most cultivated grapes in Champagne, summarizing all the charm and allure of a great brand.
The “Yellow Label Ice Jacket” is a Champagne Brut that represents the style of one of the most famous Maisons. Founded back in 1772, Veuve Clicquot helped create the legend of Champagne, thanks to the figure of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, who at a young age found herself managing the domaine. Her determination, initiative, and expertise have made the brand a global excellence. Today it is part of the LVMH group and continues to produce a range of labels of extraordinary charm. This Champagne is the synthesis of the Maison. It comes from a careful selection of grapes from about 50-60 parcels, among the best of the property. It is a blend based on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier, which are vinified separately and by individual parcel. At the time of creating the blend, 30-45% of reserve wines from previous vintages are added to the vins clairs of the vintage, which constitute the true heritage of the Maison. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the rules of the Méthode Champenoise with a sur lattes aging in the ancient caves dug into the chalky subsoil of Reims for about 30 months.
The Brut “Yellow Label Ice Jacket” from the Maison Veuve Clicquot is a Champagne with a classic face, perfect for those who love or want to discover the elegant style of this famous brand. It is a perfect bottle to enjoy with seafood appetizers or as a full meal with delicately flavored fish dishes. In the glass, it presents a beautiful bright light yellow color with brilliant golden reflections. The perlage is fine, delicate, and persistent. Refined and rich, it offers aromas of ripe citrus, yellow-fleshed fruit, hints of white flowers, and notes of dried fruit, pastries, and pain grillé. The sip is long and satisfying, with complex aromas and a very fresh and savory finish.
