Champagne Rosé "L 'incandescent" by Mouzon Leroux is a Rosé de Saignée from Verzy Grand Cru, aged on the lees in bottle for over 20 months. It smells of red and white fruits, wild herbs and rose petals. The taste is taut, subtle, slender, fresh, saline and mineral, of excellent balance. Artisanal Wine made with old style methods

The Champagne Rosé de Saignée Extra Brut Grand Cru “L’Incandescent” by Mouzon Leroux is a classic rosé, elegant and harmonious, produced with pure Pinot Noir grapes coming from vineyards cultivated in the municipal territory of the famous Gran Cru of Verzy. It is a Champagne of good structure and aromatic intensity, expressing refined aromas of small red berries enriched with floral nuances. The sip offers a pleasantly soft and fragrant fruit, well balanced by a clear mineral freshness.

The Extra Brut Grand Cru “L’Incandescent” is a Champagne Rosé de Saignée produced by the small artisanal Maison Mouzon Leroux, which includes about fifty small plots covering a total of just over seven hectares, cultivated under biodynamic farming principles in the Grand Cru of Verzy. The young vines are worked with horses, to avoid compacting the soils too much, and between the rows, efforts are made to stimulate the natural vegetative and productive balance of the plants without any forcing. The soils, composed of limestone and clay, have always proven to be very suitable for both the needs of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which produce high-quality grapes. The Champagne Mouzon Leroux represents a small production, sought after by enthusiasts who love Champagnes strongly tied to a single territory.

The Rosé de Saignée Extra Brut Grand Cru “L’Incandescent” by Mouzon Leroux is a Champagne that well represents this type of wine with a decidedly gastronomic vocation, which can be paired with shellfish or delicate white meat dishes. It is the result of the pure vinification of Pinot Noir grapes and fermentation with indigenous yeasts in French oak barriques. The base wines rest on the fine lees for six months undergoing malolactic fermentation before being blended and started for the second fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method. In the glass, it presents itself with a pink color and a fine, continuous perlage. The bouquet recalls floral scents, delicate aromas of small berries, and notes of bread crust. The sip is harmonious, with an expressive fruit, anticipating a finish of good freshness.
