The Chardonnay "L’Altro" by Pio Cesare is a soft and balanced white wine from the Langhe, aged partly in barrique for a few months. It evokes aromas of fresh fruit, flowers, and many aromatic herbs. On the palate, it reveals harmony, freshness, minerality, roundness, and good persistence.

The Piedmontese white wine Chardonnay "L'Altro" produced by Pio Cesare highlights all the skill of the winery in presenting a great international white grape variety within a territory particularly suited for the production of red wines, the Langhe. A multifaceted label on the nose, where different olfactory sensations alternate, while on the palate the sip flows with a savory taste that makes the drinking smooth. As if that weren't enough, this bottle can also boast interesting scores obtained not only at the national level.

"L'Altro" is a pure Chardonnay that comes from grapes cultivated in three different vineyards owned by the Pio Cesare winery, more precisely those of Cascina il Bricco in Treiso, Vigna Colombaro in Serralunga d'Alba, and Vigna Bossania in Trezzo Tinella. The must, obtained from the pressing of the grapes, ferments in steel containers at controlled temperature, and a small part also ferments in barrique. This "division" continues even during the aging phase, where the wine remains to mature for 5 months on the lees both in steel tanks and in wood, before being bottled and marketed.

The Chardonnay "L'Altro" presents itself to the eye with an intense straw yellow color, which tends towards golden in some slight reflections of the nail. On the nose, a complex layered set of notes emerges, where more mineral and spicy hints alternate with shades of fruit, flowers, and touches of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is light-bodied, soft, with a sip characterized by a savory and mineral texture, refreshing; it finishes with an excellent persistent finale. The umpteenth gem signed by the Pio Cesare winery, a historic production reality of the Langhe known worldwide for the quality of its products.
