The Chardonnay from the Marchesi di Gresy is a white of great structure, a Piedmontese expression of a classic Burgundy. The grapes are grown on Monte Aribaudo near Treiso and subsequently the must matures for a long period in wood, for as long as 22 months, which gives it body, softness, and tertiary notes of spices and toasting.
