Chateau Palmer 3eme Cru Classé is a Bordeaux champion with great evolutionary potential. The nose is a symphony of complex, rich and intense notes that bring together sensations of wild berry jam, bitter cocoa, cream of cassis, cloves, spices and menthol echoes. Full-bodied, deep and elegant, this Bordeaux blend has the structure and unmistakable class of the great Medoc reds!

Chateau Palmer 3eme Cru Classé is a historic estate in Margaux, which has been producing extraordinary wines since the early 19th century. Its excellence was recognized in 1855 with the designation of 3eme Cru Classé during the classification carried out for the Universal Exposition in Paris. Since then, the level of production has always remained at the highest levels and still today represents an essential reference point for lovers of great wines from the Médoc. It is a classic Bordeaux blend, made with a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon, as is customary on the Left Bank, which captivates with elegance, complexity, and persistence.

The 3eme Cru Classé of Chateau Palmer originates from an estate of 66 hectares located in a prestigious area, characterized by gravelly soils, composed of alluvial deposits from the Garonne. The poor and very draining soils, combined with a climate moderated by the estuary of the Gironde, create a perfect habitat for red grape varieties. The grapes from the vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot are vinified separately by variety and single parcel, following the different ripening times. After a rigorous selection, only the best clusters, riper and healthier, are sent for fermentation, which takes place in fifty-four small truncated-conical tanks, in order to preserve the characteristics of each terroir. The wines mature for 24 months in French oak barriques. During this period, numerous tasting sessions are held to select the best barrels that will then be used to compose the final blend. Experience, savoir-faire, and knowledge of the style of the Château allow each year to create a wine that reflects the typical taste of this excellence of the Médoc.

The wine Chateau Palmer 3eme Cru Classé perfectly expresses the classic face of the great wines of Margaux, which within the area of the Médoc are known and appreciated for the extraordinary expressive harmony and the soft maturity of the fruit. In appearance, it presents a dark ruby red color with garnet reflections. The aromatic palette is broad and finely faceted, with notes of black currant, blueberry, wild blackberry, sour cherry, soft spices, hints of cocoa, roasting, noble woods, and balsamic nuances. Structured and rich, it has a sip with dense and mature tannins, enveloped by a dense fruit, enhanced by refined tertiary evolution hints. A great wine with infinite persistence, to be enjoyed among connoisseurs on a special evening.
