The Chianti Classico Riserva from Val delle Corti releases intense notes of blackberry, cherry, violets, and sweet spices in the glass. On the palate, it is juicy, soft, and elegant, with a beautiful mineral and persistent verve. It matures for 24 months in oak barrels and old barriques

The Chianti Classico Riserva from Podere Val delle Corti is a classic, elegant, and intense version of this great red from the Tuscan tradition. It is a wine that originates in the wonderful hilly area of Radda in Chianti, among the most vocated for the cultivation of Sangiovese. The winemaking with long aging in wood allows the wine to soften the tannins, making them smoother and silkier, and enriches the typical varietal profile, floral and fruity of Sangiovese, with tertiary evolutions that make the sip particularly elegant and complex.

The red Chianti Classico Riserva is a pure Sangiovese that comes to light in the heart of the lands of the Chianti Classico area. Podere Val delle Corti is a small reality that manages 6 hectares of vineyards with spirit and artisanal care. The vineyards are cultivated with indigenous grape varieties, Sangiovese and Canaiolo, to which the international Merlot has been added, particularly suitable for the climate and stony soils of the area. In this area, Sangiovese reaches the absolute peaks of its expressive potential and the Chianti Classico Riserva is the tangible proof of it. The good temperature excursions, the constant ventilation, and the exposure of the vineyards to the east contribute to bringing to maturity fragrant and ripe bunches, which have managed to preserve great freshness.

The Chianti Classico Riserva wine, produced by the Tuscan winery Podere Val delle Corti, is made with grapes from 40-year-old vines, cultivated at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level, on soils characterized by calcareous marls rich in galestro. Fermentation takes place spontaneously using indigenous yeasts and with a maceration on the skins of about 3 weeks in steel tanks and 2 weeks in open tonneaux. Before bottling, the wine matures for 24 months in used barriques and tonneaux. In the glass, it has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it recalls floral scents of violet, aromas of ripe cherry, small red berry fruits, spicy sensations, nuances of leather and noble woods. On the palate, it has a good body, with a fine tannic texture well integrated with a fruit
