Cotes du Jura "Blanc Tradition" from Chateau d'Arlay is a white wine from the Jura region that comes from an elegant blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin. With a maturation of 3 years in large wooden barrels, it is explosive on the nose with sensations of hazelnut, raisins, and tea leaves, surrounded by tones of light oxidation; on the palate it is enveloping and substantial, with infinite aging potential. Wine made like it used to be with artisanal methods

The Cotes du Jura “Blanc Tradition” from Domaine Chateau d'Arlay is a wine produced in the French region of Jura with a blend primarily composed of Chardonnay, to which a percentage of the most widespread grape variety in the area is added: Savagnin Blanc. It is a complex and deep white wine, the result of a long aging in wood, which offers an enveloping bouquet, rich in notes of tertiary evolution. Excellent to taste immediately, it also has good aging potential.

The Cotes du Jura “Blanc Tradition” wine is born in the beautiful vineyards of Domaine Chateau d'Arlay, a historic estate in Jura, one of the oldest in all of France, located right in the heart of the Appellation. It is a large plot of about 25 hectares wonderfully exposed to the south and well protected from the cold winds coming from the north. The soil composition includes areas predominantly of limestone and areas characterized by the presence of gray marls, which have proven to be very suitable for the cultivation of Chardonnay and Savagnin Blanc. The estate is located at an altitude between 200 and 240 meters above sea level and includes many old vines of particular value. The grapes of Chardonnay and Savagnin ferment using only indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled steel tanks and then matures for 3 years in large wooden barrels before being bottled.

The “Blanc Tradition” Chateau d'Arlay perfectly represents the classic style of the Domaine, which, faithful to its traditions and long history, has always used long aging in wood. Its wines stand out for their structure, intensity, and aromatic complexity. The color is bright and luminous golden yellow. The bouquet expresses broad and evolved aromas with notes of hazelnut, raisins, aromatic herbs, tea leaves, ripe fruit, and light oxidative sensations. The sip is rich and multifaceted, very deep and persistent, with a dry and long finish.
