Dettori Bianco is produced from pure Vermentino and represents the essence and genuineness of the fascinating Sardinian land. The nose is a triumph of aromas of remarkable complexity and depth, ranging from dried figs to toasted almonds. On the palate, it has substance and class, surprising for its taste persistence!

The Dettori Bianco is an icon in the world of artisanal wine, an exciting infusion of sea, scrubland, and fruit. The Dettori family is truly a name that needs no introduction, always a bastion in the production of identity wines that, like few others, can convey the essence of their place of origin. Certainly, the old bush-trained vineyards of Cannonau, Vermentino, Monica, Pascale, and Bovale help in this endeavor, but one must know how to preserve such a rich and multifaceted heritage. Hence a belief that does not take into account passing trends, given that the culture of respect for nature is inherent in the Dettori family, which long before they began bottling their wines never contemplated that chemicals or synthetic substances would alter the natural balance of the place. The wines produced by the Badde Nigolosu winery are undoubtedly among the most exciting one can encounter, capable of striking at first taste and becoming a watershed between a before and an after.

The Dettori Bianco wine is obtained from pure Vermentino grapes, coming from vines of almost 60 years trained as bush vines on calcareous hilly terrain at an altitude of 300 meters. In the vineyard, low yields and agriculture that follows the principles of biodynamics are the prelude to equally serious cellar work, where all fermentations occur spontaneously, and in the case of the white, there is a brief maceration on the skins. The liquid ages for several months in cement tanks and is bottled without undergoing clarifications or filtrations.

The Dettori Bianco presents itself in the glass with a splendid golden robe, edged with amber reflections. Engaging and dynamic nose, an unstoppable whirlwind of briny notes, fruit in alcohol, dried fruit, and Mediterranean scrub, which is equivalent to a dive into Sardinian land. On the palate, the liquid reveals all its richness, where overflowing matter and fruit sweetness are enlivened by a savory push and a slight tannic friction. Masterful.

Colour:
Golden yellow, with amber reflections.
Scent:
Deep and complex, almost like red wine, reminiscent of cherries in spirit, dried figs. Then the explosion of ripe fruitiness, with a slight final oxidative note.
Taste:
Rich, extractive, substantial, almost tannic at the attack, it balances between bitterness, sweetness, and alcoholic strength, with an extremely long finish.
