Fiore di Campo from the Friulian winery Lis Neris is a wine with a fresh and fragrant character, young and simple, which was born from the desire to propose a white wine to be enjoyed at aperitif time or on informal occasions among friends or during a summer dinner with fish or vegetables. It is a blend based on Friulano, with a small balance of Sauvignon Blanc, which gives a touch of intense aromaticity, and Riesling, which gives the vibrant freshness typical of the grape variety. Its floral aromas and pleasantly fruity flavours give the immediate pleasure of an engaging and satisfying sip.

Fiore di Campo wine is a classic from this famous winery in San Lorenzo Isontino. Lis Neris has more than 70 hectares of vineyards in different areas of the territory and produces a range of wines connoted by a remarkable freshness of expression, which expresses the area's characteristics very well. The Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling vines are about 15 years old and are cultivated in the province of Gorizia, in the prized areas of San Lorenzo Isontino, Moraro, Romans, on a gravelly and calcareous plateau, particularly suitable for white varieties. Agronomic management is careful and respects the principles of integrated pest management, with no use of chemical weeding and minimal use of treatments. All harvesting is done manually, with a selection of the vineyard bunches, so only healthy, ripe grapes are brought to vinification. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wine is aged for 8 months in steel on fine lees with periodic bâtonnage.

Lis Neris's Fiore di Campo white is a wine that aims, above all to bring out the character of the terroir in a transparent way, even through a delicate vinification in steel, very respectful of a raw material of excellent quality. Brilliant straw yellow in colour, it is distinguished by a bouquet with delicate notes of wild flowers, citrus aromas, white-fleshed fruit, tobacco peach, notes of medicinal herbs and hints of almond. The palate is harmonious, with rich, juicy fruit, well balanced by a savory streak and a finish of lively freshness.
