The Franciacorta “Golf 1927” is a sparkling wine that celebrates the Barone Edoardo Pizzini who founded one of the first golf course in Italy. Its bouquet is mineral and floral, with delicate notes of honay and bread crust. The taste is elegant, creamy, fresh and mineral, well-balanced and very fine. Organic Wine

The Franciacorta Extra Brut “Golf 1927” by Barone Pizzini is a sparkling wine enveloping and characterful. The name pays homage to the founder of the winery, Baron Edoardo Pizzini, who created one of the first golf courses of the time in 1927. A decision and an innovative project, as symbolized by the female player figure present on the label: the same revolutionary spirit and foresight that today drive Barone Pizzini, which, among the first in Franciacorta, has embraced a biological cultivation system. “Golf 1927” is elegance and firmness, a mix capable of seducing even the most demanding palates.

The Extra Brut “Golf 1927” is made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero, present in proportions of 95% and 5% respectively. These grapes come from 26 different vineyards, located in the municipalities of Provaglio d’Iseo, Passirano, Corte Franca, and Adro, characterized by morainic soils with good permeability. Following manual harvesting, the bunches undergo a soft pressing, thus obtaining the must. This is placed in stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place first and 6 months of maturation afterwards. Once the base wine is obtained, the bottle fermentation phase begins, which involves a period of aging on the lees from 20 to 30 months.

The Franciacorta Barone Pizzini “Golf 1927” has a beautiful straw yellow color, brightened by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, the notes of bakery blend with the fruity and floral texture, creating a bouquet of complexity and at the same time of pleasantness. In the mouth, the enveloping character is counterpointed by a lively sapidity. It is memorable for the class of the sip and the finesse of the body. Perfect to sip in a restaurant during a refined break between one golf game and another!
