French vigneron Yvan Bernard's 'Banlieue' is a Gamay from the Auvergne with a brilliant red colour and violet hues. The manually harvested grapes are fermented using indigenous yeasts in steel tanks, without any filtration. excellent balance of freshness and lightness on the palate characterised by complex simplicity of aromas of small red fruits intertwined with peppery notes
