GARNACHA BLANCA 'GB' PARTIDA CREUS DESCRIPTION

Partida Creus Garnacha Blanca 'GB' is a Spanish orange wine that makes expressive richness and character its strengths. The Partida Creus bodega, located in the Penedès area in the province of Tarragona, was born from the dream of Antonella Gerosa and Massimo Marchiori, a pair of architects from Piedmont who moved to Catalonia in 2001 driven by passion and the desire to produce wines in an artisanal way. To work the soil, Massimo and Antonella help themselves with a mare and a donkey in order to preserve the soil structure.

The 'GB' Partida Creus Garnacha Blanca is an expression of the pure variety of the same name bred on clay-limestone soils according to organic and biodynamic farming principles. Following manual harvesting, the grapes undergo a light oxidative maceration, with alcoholic fermentation in steel conducted exclusively by the yeasts present on the berries and in the cellar environment. Maturation takes place on the fine lees partly in steel tanks and partly in neutral wooden barrels for 8 months, and the wine is finally bottled without undergoing any clarification or filtration process and without the addition of sulfites.

To the eye, Partida Creus' Garnacha Blanca 'GB' macerated white wine takes on an intense bright amber color. Articulate and lively is the olfactory mosaic, composed of aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit and macerated flowers that meet sensations of candied citrus and dried fruit. In the mouth it is rich, full and broad, with a strong character and long mineral persistence, not lacking in freshness and dynamism. By virtue of its inherent characteristics, this label can accompany both savory seafood preparations and earthy dishes.
