Biba Ardoak and Bodegas Aristu present the Garnacha Spumante ‘Dultze Galbana’, an Ancestral Method with an irresistible fresh and drinkable character. It is a refined sparkling red version made from Garnacha Tinta grapes, produced in Navarra according to sustainable agronomic practices and minimalist winemaking operations. The expression “dultze galbana” is a play on words as “dultze” means “sweet” while “galbana” is a Basque term that indicates tiredness and laziness, a mental and physical state that evokes a carefree and refreshing drink like this Garnacha Spumante.

The ‘Dultze Galbana’ Garnacha Spumante Ibonen Ardoak from the young producer Ibon Aristu of Bodegas Aristu is a 100% Garnacha Tinta from vineyards managed according to the principles of certified organic farming. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately transferred to the winery and pressed in stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously thanks to the action of the natural yeasts present on the grapes and in the winemaking environment, accompanied by a brief maceration on the skins. When the fermentation process is not yet fully completed, the liquid is bottled in such a way as to achieve the sparkling effect in glass without the addition of exogenous sugars and yeasts, according to the Ancestral Method.

Visually, the Garnache Biba Ardoak Bodegas Aristu ‘Dultze Galbana’ shows a clear ruby red color with lively foam. On the nose, fruity hints of wild strawberries, raspberry, and cherry alternate with fresh floral and aromatic herb notes.
