The "Coeur du Roy-Tres Vieilles Vignes" is a fascinating and deep Gevrey Chambertin by Bernard Dugat-Py’s winery. A great Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir that ages for 16-18 months in French oak barrique. The wine glass shows a ruby red color with garnet reflections, which anticipates complex aromas of small red fruits, licorice and herbaceous and woody hints. Rich and elegant with fine, ripe tannins and a fresh and persistent finish. Artisanal wine

Pinot Noir Gevrey-Chambertin 'Coeur du Roy-Tres Vieilles Vignes' is the fruit of the work of a historic family of vignerons, who have been cultivating vines in Burgundy since the 17th century. Today, the thirteenth generation manages an estate with a collection of exceptionally valuable vineyards. Since 2003, the vineyards of Domaine Bernard Dugat-Py have been organically farmed, with full respect for nature. The vines are born from a mass selection, so as to perpetuate the ancient biotypes present on the estate. The wine comes from the oldest vines, which are between 55 and 90 years old: plants that sink their roots deep into the soil in search of water and nutrients and have developed a perfect interaction with the soil. Every year they yield grapes of excellent quality and suffer much less from water stress and critical climatic conditions. After vinification in red, with maceration on the skins, the wine matures for 16-18 months in French oak barrels, 80% new.
