Gevrey-Chambertin 'La Justice' is Maison Romane's most ambitious offering, a precious expression of the Burgundy commune most adept at delivering power and body. It undergoes a long ageing process, exclusively in used barriques to alter the characteristics of the fruit as little as possible. The nose is rich and complex, with cherry, raspberry, a balsamic touch and a complex finish with Asian spices. On the palate, it stands out for its great freshness, with tannins that are present but noble and of high quality. A red to pair with the classic boeuf bourguignon
