Grillo 'Kebrilla' Cantine Fina 2021

The Grillo "Kebrilla" of Fina is a Sicilian white wine from the province of Trapani and comes from vines located near the maritime coast of the municipality of Marsala and expresses in the glasses the savoury and iodine personality of the Sicilian sea. It expresses on the nose intense notes of iodine, orange blossom and mixed citrus peel, brushed on a fruity background of white peaches and reveals a refreshing, tonic and satisfying taste.

GRILLO 'KEBRILLA' CANTINE FINA 2021 DESCRIPTION

Cantine Fina's Grillo "Kebrilla" is a dry white wine from Marsala that tells the story of one of Sicily's oldest vines. This is a grape that, among the many cultivated on the island, is perhaps the one that best recalls its aromas and richness of sensations. This is the case with the "Kebrilla", in which one appreciates the enviable freshness on the palate and the elegance of the range proposed on the nose, where the flowers of Sicily take on different forms, alternating with territorial references in which the savouriness of the nearby sea and the breezes that caress the vineyards can be felt with precision. A bottle also characterised by excellent value for money, a further merit of a product born of the passion for Marsala.

"Kebrilla" by Cantine Fina is 100% Grillo, harvested from vines planted on plots located in the western part of Sicily, some 150-400 metres above sea level. A Mediterranean wind, laden with iodine, blows through the rows and the vines are worked using organic farming practices to protect the environment. The harvest takes place towards the end of August, and after the grapes are pressed, the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers. The wine is then transferred for a quick passage into barriques, cement and stainless steel containers.

The "Kebrilla" Grillo by the Fina winery appears to the eye with a bright and brilliant straw yellow colour. The aromas that envelop the nose move in a purely floral and fruity context, enriched by sensations reminiscent of iodine. The entrance to the palate is mineral, developing into a very savoury, refreshing sip. It closes with a finish endowed with excellent persistence. A label with a strong identity, which, sip after sip, transports us to the interior of Sicily, precisely where Grillo grows and embodies all the aspects and nuances of the island.
