The "Katamacerato" by Elios is a Sicilian orange wine that comes from a maceration on the skins of Catarratto for about a week. The grapes come from the old vineyards cultivated in Monreale and give birth to a very expressive and artisanal nectar, the result of a vinification and aging in steel. Notes of spices, apricot, brackish effluents, nuances of hydrocarbons and hints of honey introduce a drinkable, fresh and pleasantly rustic sip, with a slight tannin.
