The Lambrusco Frizzante ‘Zel’ by Pico Re is the Emilia red sparkling wine in its fullest and most enveloping form, made from red grapes vinified in red. The effervescence, given by the sparkling process with the Martinotti method, accompanies a dark and warm profile, more intense than the agile versions of the type. On the nose, it unfolds with hints of ripe dark fruit, a spicy touch, and a hint of rose petals. On the palate, it is soft, with a warm body and fruity finish, perfect with a Rosa di Parma, surprising with intense elaborated fish dishes.
