It is a rich and smooth expression characterized by freshness. Perfumes of yellow fruits and flowers animate a fruity, savory and juicy taste.
The Langhe Bianco from the Principiano winery is an elegant white wine with incredible freshness made from pure Timorasso grapes. The vineyards, planted in Alta Langa at 750 meters above sea level, are located in one of the highest altitude areas of the region and for this reason are able to give this white wine great drinkability and a unique typicity. The winery, managed by Ferdinando Principiano, is located in Monforte d’Alba and is run with great environmental sensitivity, minimizing interventions in the vineyard as well as in the cellar, and following a holistic vision of wine.
The winemaking process begins, after the manual harvest and selection of the grapes, with a destemming and crushing of the grapes, followed by the spontaneous fermentation of the must which takes place in stainless steel containers using only indigenous yeasts. Subsequently, malolactic fermentation is carried out, after which the wine is aged for 10 months in steel containers and then bottled without clarifications and without filtrations.
The Langhe The Bianco by Ferdinando Principiano presents itself with a deep straw yellow color with slight golden hues. On the nose, there are hints of ripe yellow fruit, such as peach and plum, white and yellow flowers, citrus notes reminiscent of orange peel, chalky mineral notes, and a delicate nuance of honey and flint. On the palate, it is full, enveloping, juicy, and at the same time possesses that freshness and minerality that adds verticality to the sip and makes it balanced and pleasantly drinkable. The finish is long, persistent, and rich. This label signed by Principiano is a white of great expression, sought after and characteristic, produced with great attention to quality and environmental sustainability.
