Winegrower's winesLe Petit by Manincor is a very elegant sweet wine made from late-harvest white grapes, produced with spontaneous fermentation in medium-sized oak barrels. An articulated and complex bouquet of exotic fruit, citrus, honey, dates, and white flowers accompanies a rich and sweet sip, supported by great freshness and minerality.
A niche grape variety, rarely found in the Italian territory, gives life to this splendid “Le Petit”. A sweet wine with layered aromas, born from the grapes cultivated by Manincor, a estate in Mazzon, on the eastern slope of the Bassa Atesina. An original and particular bottle, where freshness and sapidity make the sip satisfying, and where the sweet component is present with great harmony, without ever being cloying.
Manincor creates this “Le Petit” starting from a very particular grape variety located at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level on south-facing soils, characterized by a subsoil composed of morainic residues. The bunches are harvested late, dried, and after a light pressing, they are fermented in wooden barrels thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts.
“Le Petit” signed by Manincor presents itself to the eye with a fascinating color, reminiscent of golden yellow, crossed by slight amber veins. Magnificent on the nose, rich and complex, where notes of candied and exotic fruit blend with floral sensations. On the palate, it has excellent structure, balanced, with a perfectly balanced sweet sip, characterized by a pleasant freshness and an evident minerality; it finishes with a long-lasting aftertaste. A very pleasant label, perfect to beautifully conclude a dinner among passionate friends, where the choice of wine plays a significant role.
