The Manincor winery has been carrying on ancient winemaking traditions for more than 400 years in Caldaro, one of the most fascinating and prolific areas in all of Trentino Alto Adige. It is a historic production reality, which began in 1608, when Hieronymus Manincor received, for his merits in favor of Austria, a portion of land around Lake Caldaro. Since then the Manincor property passed from hand to hand, and, coming to more recent times, in 1978 it was purchased by the Counts Enzenberg, a family still firmly at the helm of the winery today with Michael Goëss-Enzenberg. Until the 1990s, Manincor sold only its own grapes, and it was Michael who decided to reverse course and began producing and marketing its own labels.

Manincor is a winery that is spread over about 50 hectares of vineyards, encompassed around seven estates that can enjoy different exposures, ideal for bringing to life a wide range of quality products. Among them, Mazzon, Panholzer and Manincor are the most vocated plots for reds, where Pinot Noir, Lagrein Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon find ideal conditions for perfect growth; Lieben Aich and Leiten, on the other hand, are the terroirs where the whites, based on Moscato Giallo and Sauvignon, take root. In the vineyard, operations are carried out with the intention of making "pure" and genuine wines that respect the natural cycles of the vine. This is precisely why the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture are followed, protecting biodiversity first and foremost. Similarly, in the winery, man's interventions are minimal and are limited to accompanying the wines on their own innate path. Each grape variety is vinified separately, fermentations are spontaneous and occur through the use of natural yeasts from the vineyards themselves; racking and bottling are carried out following the rhythm of the lunar cycles. For the aging phase, wood is used that comes directly from the oaks in the forests surrounding Manincor.

In short, a range of bottles expressive of different appellations of origin, which, from the most classic and easy-drinking expressions, reaches the most elegant gems, coming from old vines located in the best plots, produced only in the most memorable vintages.

"Manincor svolge un eccellente lavoro mantenendo una perfetta simbiosi tra viticoltura biodinamica e fermentazioni spontanee, e fungendo da faro per l'intera produzione locale"
