The Cuvée Fontenille is a white wine from the Rhône produced from a blend of local varieties and aged in wooden barrels for 10 months. It has a soft and mature profile, with a generous and rich structure, and an aromatic profile rich in notes of peach, honey, sweet spices, and a pleasant saline note.

The Luberon “Alphonse” Blanc from Domaine de Fontenille originates from the Rhône Valley in France, an area dedicated to producing wines of unparalleled quality and beautiful, colorful landscapes. The winery is an oasis of relaxation and was founded in the seventeenth century: in addition to wine production, the estate hosts a hotel, organizes visits to the vineyards and its garden for guests, and offers the opportunity to rest and unwind, connecting with nature and its beauties. From generation to generation, the art of winemaking has been passed down, and today there is a flourishing activity, destined to grow even more.

The Rolle, Grenache White, and Clairette grapes of the Luberon “Alphonse” Blanc from Domaine de Fontenille grow on soils mainly composed of clay and limestone and are cultivated following the principles of organic farming, with total respect for the ecosystem surrounding the vineyards. The exposure is to the south/southeast, which results in constant and lasting, for a complete and effective maturation of the raw material. The grape harvest is manual, and in the winery, alcoholic fermentation takes place in wood for 3 weeks; followed by aging for 10 months in oak barrels before bottling.

The color of the Luberon “Alphonse” Blanc from Domaine de Fontenille is a straw yellow with intense golden reflections. The aromas released recall ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, honey, and sweet spices, with light saline hints on the finish; on the palate, the structure is generous, intense, and enveloping with pleasant minerality and freshness. It is recommended to pair with shellfish, mollusks, and fish soups; also interesting with white meats cooked in stew. A wine to be enjoyed on occasions of summer dinners by the sea at sunset for romantic moments or for family evenings filled with joy and carefree spirit.
