The "Masetto Nero" by Endrizzi is a red wine resulting from the blending of an indigenous variety like Teroldego with international grapes such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. A historic label of the winery, strongly desired by the founder Francesco Endrici, capable of expressing in all its gustatory and olfactory power the potential of the origin territory. The bouquet initially presents fruity notes, then opens to tertiary hints of spices and cocoa, with a full and consistent sip and a long fruity persistence on the palate

The Masetto Nero by Endrizzi is the skillful result of a blend of indigenous red grape varieties from Trentino, combined with two famous international Bordeaux varieties, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a historic label of the winery, representing a successful attempt to create a red wine that combines the characteristics of the local grapes with a more international personality. A harmonious and intense wine, it presents a bouquet with aromas of berries, ripe red fruit, and more evolved and complex hints of spices, vanilla, and cocoa.

The Masetto Nero wine is made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Teroldego. Merlot provides elegance and soft fruity notes, Cabernet Sauvignon gives structure and refined aromatic complexity, while Teroldego adds its fruity and typically territorial character. All the grapes come from vineyards trained in Trentino pergola and Guyot systems, in the locations of Masetto and Maso Kinderleit in S. Michele all'Adige, on calcareous soils with the presence of dolomitic rocks. Fermentation occurs in tanks controlled temperature stainless steel tanks, with frequent pump-overs and skin maceration lasting about 10 days. The wine ages for 18 months in wood, partly in barriques and partly in large oak barrels, and finishes its aging with 6 months in bottle.

The Masetto Nero Endrizzi is an elegant and structured wine that, thanks to the long aging in wood, gains harmony and expressive softness. A red wine suitable for important pairings, it captivates with its complexity and concentration. The color is a rather intense ruby red. On the nose, it expresses aromas of small dark berries, cherry, ripe red fruit, toasted notes, vanilla, spices, and bitter cocoa. On the palate, it has a good body, with a dense and well-integrated tannic structure, deep aromas, and a persistent finish.
