Mencia 'Benquerido' Monte Pio is a Galician red of great finesse, made from an indigenous variety capable of producing graceful yet exciting wines. After 18 months in oak barrels, it develops not only fruit complexity but also finesse and briny tones. The nose releases aromas of red and wild fruits, slightly spicy with hints of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it is fresh with a great load of fruit and a fine, vertical bite
