Reverdy et Fils' Menetou Salon Blanc is a perfect example of the great versatility of Sauvignon and the expressive kaleidoscope that is Loire wine. The grapes grow on limestone soils south of the river, where they find ideal conditions for producing intense fruit. The nose reveals typical white fruits and citrus notes, opening up to spicy and balsamic hints. The palate is round but with the typical profile of a northern wine: fresh and with a distinct savoury minerality. Perfect with flavourful fish such as pike in cream sauce
