The Nerello Mascalese 'Nzemmula' by Bruno Ferrara Sardo is the only wine, so far, from this small winery. All the vines are old, one of the great virtues of Etna, where vines stay healthy for decades. The production, which is artisanal, takes place in the contrada of Allegracore, where Bruno vinifies the Nerello exclusively in steel. This allows the nerello, an intense and fine grape by nature, to maintain great freshness of aromas and tension on the palate. On the nose there are typical hints of red fruits, saltiness and stone, the classic traits of the volcano, but also Mediterranean herbs. The palate is rich, fresh, the sip is deep and meditative.
