The Ottagono is a Nero di Troia full-bodied, dense, and structured wine, made from overripe grapes and aged in large barrels for 12 months. It is a red wine with a full and intense aromatic profile, featuring hints of black berry fruit and prominent spices. Balanced, soft, and persistent on the palate
climateand Mediterranean, mitigated by sea breezes. The vines are planted using the Guyot training system and a planting density of 3500 vines per hectare, yielding no more than 60 quintals/ha. The name of the label derives from the octagonal plant of the Castle, a true symbol of the territory and its history. The harvest is slightly late and occurs around the beginning of November. The grapes ferment with a long maceration on the skins in concrete tanks, then matures for 8 months in concrete and for 12 months in large oak barrels.a finish of great taste balance that returns to elegant notes of oriental spices.
