ArtisanalThe "Pedaforno" from Cascina Fornace is an Arneis macerated on the skins for a week that surprises with its tenacity, mineral verve, and structure. It is made with Arneis grapes from a single 60-year-old vineyard in the heart of Roero, a territory that pulses in this white with all its salty and fragrant drive. Only indigenous yeasts and a long aging in tonneaux that give the nose fragrant notes of ripe peaches, toasted dried fruit, and brininess. On the palate, it is straightforward and decisive, expanding in the mouth and persisting for a long time.
