It is a quality Pinot Grigio label, born from precious lands, with careful vineyard management and skilled winemaking. Far from the industrial versions aimed at international markets, it claims the value of a grape with remarkable oenological potential, capable of producing intense, rich, and highly appealing whites. Fruity and floral, it possesses notable versatility and an extraordinary gastronomic vocation.
Teresa Raiz's Pinot Grigio wine comes from vineyards located within the company estate near Povoletto, in the province of Udine, in an area historically dedicated to the production of great wines, particularly with international white grape varieties. The vineyards are cultivated in a beautiful hilly area, on plots characterized by the presence of moraine soils, rich in pebbles and gravel, which make the soil very draining and always dry. The harvesting operations are carried out manually in the first weeks of September. The bunches are gently pressed and after 36 hours of static decantation, the must is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at around 18 °C. The wine is bottled after aging for 6 months on the lees in steel tanks.
