The Pinot Noir from Gumphof is an expressive version of this French grape variety that, today, roots excellently in the mountains around the Adige. Markus, the winemaker, is a recognized figure in the Isarco Valley, capable of giving a personal and expressive touch to all his wines. Initially fruity and intense, on the nose it develops herbaceous notes that establish the complexity of the wine. On the palate, it is fresh, smooth but not thin.
