The "Pom'n'Roll" is a Bordeaux red wine of great territorial typicality made in the heart of the Pomerol plateau, on the right bank of the Gironde. It is produced with aging in amphora and a very artisanal style different from the tradition of these precious lands. The nose expresses a symphony of notes of small red pulp fruit, cherry, spices and vegetal and earthy nuances. A vibrant freshness and a lively and slender body make the tasting very pleasant and authentic. Organic, Biodynamic and Artisanal Wine

In Bordeaux, in the Libournais area, the Pomerol ‘Pom’n’Roll’ by Chateau Gombaude-Guillot is born, an authentic and spontaneous red wine with a fruity and wooded aromatic profile. The Pomerol area is located on the right bank of the Gironde, near Saint-Emilion, and is known for its wines primarily made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, characterized by a greater softness compared to those produced on the left bank. Strong with these premises, the artisan vigneron Claire Laval has established herself as one of the most prominent women in the prestigious Bordeaux wine scene.

Chateau Gombaude-Guillot Pomerol ‘Pom’n’Roll’ is made from a blend of Merlot (65%), Malbec (25%), and Cabernet Franc (10%), grown under certified organic farming integrated with biodynamic practices. The vines are approximately 40 years old and rest on sandy and gravelly soils characterized by layers of clay and iron. Following the harvest, the clusters are transferred to the cellar where the alcoholic fermentation in concrete conducted exclusively by indigenous yeasts, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Maturation takes place in terracotta amphorae for 12-15 months before bottling.

The ‘Pom’n’Roll’ of Chateau Gombaude-Guillot has an intense and bright ruby red color. The aromatic spectrum opens with notes of red fruit, cherry, and spices, followed by vegetal and underbrush tones. Taste dynamic, pure, and succulent, endowed with lively freshness and a soft tannic texture. The finish emphasizes fruity and balsamic sensations. Due to its fresh and delicately tannic nature, the ‘Pom’n’Roll’ can accompany various types of dishes, although it offers its best alongside game and wild dishes.
