"En Chatenay" from Domaine la Soufrandiere is an authentic Chardonnay from Burgundy that expresses all the facets of the territory. It comes from a 55-year-old vineyard that grows on a steep terrain with Jurassic origin soils. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out by indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging for 17 months in steel tanks. A smooth, enveloping, and inviting sip is preceded by hints of aromatic herbs, citrus aromas, rocky nuances, and notes of butter.
