The Rosé "Aka" from the Produttori di Manduria is made with pure Primitivo vinified in rosé. It is a classic wine of the Apulian tradition, always oriented towards the production of rosés with good structure and aromatic intensity, which pair well with many dishes of the local cuisine. On the nose, it expresses fragrant fruity aromas of small red berries and apple. The palate is rich and satisfying, with ripe and harmonious fruit, well balanced by a finish of good freshness.

The rosé "Aka" is a wine that fully fits among the labels of the Produttori di Manduria, which best represent the enological customs of the area. The winery is a vibrant production reality made up of over 400 members, managing 900 hectares of vineyard, of which over half is cultivated with Primitivo. The age of the vines is 20-40 years and the most common training system in the older vineyards is the traditional alberello, while in the younger plants, the trellis is often used. The presence of many parcels allow each year to choose the best grapes and to always produce quality wines. The grapes for the rosé come from the Manduria area, and the vines are cultivated at an altitude between 60 and 120 meters above sea level, on medium-textured soils of calcareous-tuffaceous origin. The harvest takes place towards the end of August, and fermentation occurs in stainless steel at controlled temperature with a contact with the skins for 12 hours. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks for about three months before proceeding to bottling.
