The "Prulke" is an intense and complex white wine from typical Carso grapes. It is vinified in open oak tanks with skin maceration and matures for 24 months in large barrels. Flowers, citrus, and aromatic herbs intertwine in a fresh and complex texture, with significant sapidity.

Prulke by Zidarich is the apotheosis of flavors and aromas from the blend of Sauvignon, Vitovska, and Malvasia from Friuli, more precisely from the Carso region. A winery that is now known for its interpretation of Vitovska and for its production philosophy aimed at enhancing the pure and original characteristics of the typical grape varieties of the area. Prulke is the result of all this, a happy union of grapes that, through the skilled hand of Beniamino Zidarich, express their original traits without the danger of false representation.

Zidarich, with his Prulke, sees his story begin between the last week of September and the first ten days of October when the manual harvest of the bunches begins, benefiting from the reddish soils of Carso. The work, once in the winery, proceeds with destemming followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a skin maceration in open vats. To increase the extraction of the typical traits of the grape varieties, daily pump-overs are performed with no temperature control. Subsequently, malolactic fermentation is awaited.inside large oak barrels and then undergoes aging in medium and large Slavonian and French oak barrels with natural toasting. Bottling is carried out without any type of filtration and will last for about two years before being released on the market.

Prulke by Zidarich colors the glass with a wonderful golden yellow with coppery hues and a slight haze. The nose is rich and driven by notes of mandarin and lavender, creating an eager desire to taste this wine. Cinnamon and peach complete the bouquet. With an eternal drinkability, it impresses with its clever freshness paired with a straightforward sapidity that makes the sip lively and taut. Prulke is a wine that would be reductive to tie to single pairings; it surprises because it is multifaceted, capable of holding up to a plurality of flavors and dishes that can fill entire menus. A triptych of grape varieties that, once tasted, brings to mind a single name: Zidarich.
