RENOSU WHITE WINE DETTORI DESCRIPTION

Alessandro Dettori's Renosu Bianco is the everyday wine par excellence, good and satisfying in spite of a truly honest price. A significant name for enthusiasts that of Alessandro Dettori, an absolute reference point when it comes to artisanal wines and able like few others to encapsulate in his bottles all the essence of the extraordinary place he guards. At a time when the word 'territorial' is often used without knowledge, there is nothing more refreshing than opening a bottle capable of telling a credible story, and Alessandro's wines have always been endowed with this magical narrative power. Here in Sennori the varieties that are grown are obviously the historical ones so Cannonau, Monica, Pascale, Vermentino and Moscato di Sennori, with some very old vines even exceeding 100 years of age. No chemicals or synthetics, and a few simple gestures in the cellar so that only grapes and territory can be perceived in the glass. It's impossible to pay indifference.

Dettori's Bianco Renosu is made from white grape varieties from vines about 45 years old. In the vineyard, where the precepts of biodynamics are followed, the only substances allowed are copper and sulfur, while in the cellar, alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously in concrete tanks. The liquid undergoes neither clarification nor filtration and is bottled with a low dose of sulfur dioxide.

Dettori Bianco Renosu presents itself in the glass with an intense yellow color that veers toward golden. Intense and concessive aromas, encapsulating the essence of the island, made up of brackish reflexes and wild herbs, and the ripeness of the grapes that return aromas of apricot and dried fruit. A smooth and silky wine, with an imperceptible residual sugar that makes it mouthwatering and irresistible. Dangerous sip, for a wine that immediately captures the heart.
