Roero Arneis "Anterisio" from Cascina Chicco is a white wine with a fresh, clean, and light profile that easily lends itself to aperitifs or pairing with fish appetizers. The sip is delicate and very fresh with notes of apple, apricot, chamomile, and other aromatic herbs.

The Roero Arneis ‘Anterisio’ is a white wine with intense and pleasant aromas produced by the Piedmontese winery Cascina Chicco. The name ‘Anterisio’ refers to the homonymous subzone from which the grapes destined for this wine come, located in the municipality of Canale and mentioned as far back as 1041. Among the historical owners of the subzone were the Domini d’Anterisio and the Roero, an important family of the Asti nobility from which the entire area takes its name. Today, the Anterisio subzone is recognized as one of the most suitable plots for the cultivation of Arneis, as demonstrated by this label.

The Roero Arneis Cascina Chicco ‘Anterisio’ is a pure Arneis from vines grown in the Anterisio subzone, within the municipality of Canale, on clay and limestone soils. The grapes are hand-picked around mid-September and the bunches are then stored overnight in a cold room. The following morning, the grapes are gently pressed, followedby cryomaceration and alcoholic fermentation of the must at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, the same type of wine containers where the mass remains to mature for several months until the final bottling.

The Roero Arneis ‘Anterisio’ by Cascina Chicco has a pale straw yellow color with lively greenish reflections. From the glass emerge intense aromas of apricot, apple, and chamomile, surrounded by hints of citrus and mineral notes. The taste development is fresh, savory, and well-structured, characterized by a pleasant mineral finish. Due to its remarkable organoleptic balance, this Roero Arneis shows great versatility in food-wine pairing, successfully accompanying various dishes, both seafood and meat.
