The Roero Arneis Riserva 'Renesio Incisa' from Cascina Chicco on one of the historic hills of Roero, where this variety has found a home since 1478. The sandy-limestone soils are responsible for great finesse. The winemaking initially aims to preserve the fruit's aromaticity: with gentle pressing, half of the must ferments in steel. The other half matures in French tonneaux to give softness. The nose is rich in floral and citrus notes, then evolves into complex notes of canned peach, herbaceous notes, and iodine notes. On the palate, it is full and deep, supported by a savory backbone and great freshness.
