The Roero Arneis from Valfaccenda is the concrete realization of the artisanal and deeply territorial project of Luca and Carolina. It arises from a contemporary and bold reinterpretation of this historic grape variety: a small part of the mass macerates on the skins and ages in wood. A glass that aims for a lively and vibrant aging, exotic, while remaining well-rooted in the sandy slopes from which it comes, with a savory, spirited, and dreamy finish.

The Roero Arneis from Valfaccenda is a handcrafted wine made with great passion in the wonderful hilly territory of Roero. It is born with the aim of creating a wine linked to the territory, which is a direct and straightforward expression of the grapes with minimal intervention in the winery, to enhance and maximize the varietal characteristics of a high-quality raw material. A label that prioritizes finesse and elegance, with the intent of highlighting especially the fruity aromas and the minerality of the soils of Roero.

The white Roero Arneis from Valfaccenda is produced in the north-eastern area of the province of Cuneo, on the left bank of the Tanaro River. The vineyards are located in the Valfaccenda area, in a hilly zone between the valleys of Canale and Cisterna. The altitudes of the hills, often steep and rugged, range from 200 to 400 meters above sea level, and the soils are of a clayey-silty matrix, with a strong presence of ancient marine sands rich in fossils. The wine is made from grapes coming from two differentvineyards, which are vinified separately, with a different winemaking approach. The Cescu vineyard has vines over 60 years old and is located on sandy and silty soils at an altitude of 280 meters with a south-facing exposure. Its grapes are vinified in barriques with skin maceration for 7 days, resulting in an intense, structured, and mineral wine. The Dietro Casa vineyard, on the other hand, has 20-year-old vines and is located on silty soils at an altitude of 250 meters with an east-facing exposure. Its grapes ferment in steel and contribute to providing elegance and freshness. After a few months of resting on the lees, blending takes place. The wine is then bottled with a very low level of sulfur dioxide.

This Roero Arneis perfectly expresses the proverbial finesse of the wines from the area, which, thanks to the sandy and light soils, imparts an elegance and a pleasant mineral freshness. Precisely for these characteristics, the area is highly suited, not only for Nebbiolo but also for white grape varieties. The wine has an intense yellow color. The bouquet offers rich aromas of ripe yellow fruit, tropical hints, and nuances
