The Rosé 'Hampton Water' by Gerard Bertrand is a rosé wine born from the collaboration between Gerard Bertrand and Bon Jovi, which aims to represent the young and vibrant lifestyle that connects the south of France and the city of Hampton, Virginia. With a fresh and delicate aromatic profile, the notes of strawberry and raspberry are accompanied by hints of lemon zest, rose petals, and violet, while on the palate it is smooth and refreshing, pleasantly mineral on the finish. The ideal wine for an aperitif with a sea view!

The Rosé “Hampton Water” is one of the most famous labels of Gérard Bertrand. It perfectly represents the idea of rosés from the south of France that have conquered markets around the world, thanks to their fresh, savory, and Mediterranean profile. It is the result of a balanced blend of the most widespread red grape varieties in the area: Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, which, thanks to their perfectly complementary characteristics, give a wine delicate, finely nuanced, and harmonious. A rosé characterized by floral scents, fragrant aromas of small berries and citrus, which materialize on the palate in a clear and essential sip.

“Hampton Water” Rosé by Gérard Bertrand is one of the most famous wines of this talented vigneron from Languedoc. After a career as a rugby player, Gérard Bertrand returned to his land to manage the family estate with his father. After a few years of apprenticeship, towards the end of the 1980s, he took over the management of of the Domaine de Villemajou, and then expanded the family properties with the acquisition of other important estates in the region. The grapes of Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Syrah are harvested at different times following the optimal ripening periods. The bunches undergo a cryomaceration at 8 °C and are then pressed very gently. The musts are vinified in white with fermentations in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, in order to preserve aromas and scents. The wine matures in steel tanks, except for a small part that ages in barrique.smooth, with a crunchy fruit and a very fresh and saline finish
