Rosé 'L'Incandescente' Chemins de Bassac 2023

Les Chemins de Bassac Rosé ‘L’Incandescente’ represents a label from Languedoc that stands out for its agile and accessible style. The name of the Domaine literally means “the roads of Bassac”, chosen because most of the vineyards cultivated by the owners Bruno and Thama are located in the small area of Bassac. Instead, the appellation of this label alludes to the scorching sun of Languedoc that causes the grapes to become incandescent. All labels of Les Chemins de Bassac are illustrated by artists using the ancient photographic technique of cyanotype.

‘L’Incandescente’ Rosé Les Chemins de Bassac originates from pure Syrah grapes grown according to the dictates of certified organic and biodynamic agriculture. The plants, arranged on ancient terraces, rest on clay-limestone soils of alluvial origin, about 100 meters above sea level. Following the harvest, the grapes are processed according to the sanguine technique, which consists of extracting a portion of liquid from the macerating tankwhen the must has reached the desired color. The alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously thanks to indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, the same type of winemaking containers in which the wine remains to mature for a few months until bottling. Throughout the entire production process, the mass is not subjected to clarification and filtration operations.

The Rosé ‘L’Incandescente’ from the winery Les Chemins de Bassac has a bright pink hue. Fine and fragrant, the olfactory range is defined by aromas of red fruits that meet floral sensations. Crunchy and lively taste, juicy and drinkable, with remarkable freshness and sapidity. The finish is characterized by returns of red fruits consistent with the nose.
