'SAN VINCENZO' ANSELMI 2021 DESCRIPTION

Cantina Anselmi's 'San Vincenzo' is a white wine produced in the Soave area with Garganega, Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The combination of the classic white grape of the area and two international grape varieties of French origin with slightly aromatic characteristics gives an expressive, complex and captivating wine. The bouquet is mainly reminiscent of citrus aromas, floral hints, fruity notes and fresh almonds. On the palate it is harmonious, with rich aromas, a balanced freshness and good final flavour.

Bianco 'San Vincenzo' comes from the vineyards cultivated on the volcanic soils of Monteforte d'Alpone, located right next to the San Vincenzo Sanctuary. The main base of the cuvée is Garganega, the ancient indigenous white grape variety of the Veronese area (70%), supplemented by an important percentage of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc (30%). The two French vines contribute to giving the wine more intense aromas and flavours and a slightly more international profile. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and softly crushed. The free-run must is fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature and the wine matures on the fine lees in stainless steel for about 6 months before being bottled.

Cantina Anselmi's 'San Vincenzo' wine confirms the great and historic vocation of the Soave area in the production of white wines of quality and character. The blend of Garganega and French vines is particularly successful and gives the wine a very pleasant complexity and fruity richness. The colour is a pale straw yellow. On the nose it expresses aromas of white flowers, citrus notes, aromas of ripe fruit, pineapple and tropical fruits. On the palate it has a great balance of taste, with ripe fruit, harmonious, savoury vein and good final freshness.
