Sauvignon 'Grici' by Renato Keber is an elegant, rich and complex white wine from Collio, vinified and aged in oak barrels, with a final aging in the bottle for over 2 years. It smells of yellow fruit, exotic fruit, aromatic herbs, citrus fruits and sweet spices. On the palate it is very rich, smooth, intense, fresh, savory and persistent

The Sauvignon “Grici” by Renato Keber is a white wine that already evokes emotions, but which will amaze in the future for its complexity and depth. Indeed, this Sauvignon challenges the limits of time, presenting itself with an elegant and refined profile that promises to evolve without ever stopping. A label where the shape of the sip is appreciated, wide and enveloping, soft thanks to the aging period spent in wood. A choice of excellent quality.

“Grici” Renato Keber is made from pure Sauvignon grapes, cultivated within the DOC of Collio following methods that refer to organic farming – neither herbicides nor systemic products are used. The grapes are hand-picked and are immediately transferred to the winemaking facilities. Here, after a brief maceration in contact with the skins lasting 18 hours, the fermentation of the must takes place in oak tonneaux. Finally, the wine undergoes the final aging, in which the wine remains first for a year in tonneaux and then, once bottling is completed, for 24 months directly in glass before commercialization.

The wine “Grici” Sauvignon produced by the Renato Keber winery presents itself to the visual examination with a golden color endowed with a beautiful brightness. The aromatic profile is generous, spreading out a range of intense fragrances, which shift from fruity to aromatic herbs, highlighting at the end of the analysis a slight hint of the sweeter spices. On the palate, it has a nice breadth, denoting an excellent structure in which a fresh and mineral sip unfolds, with excellent persistence in the finish. A label that reveals the excellent potential of Sauvignon even years after the harvest: to be reserved for evenings when the wine is the “center” of the discussion.
