The Sauvignon by Lis Neris is a fresh, medium-bodied white wine, characterized by smoky notes and the typical aromatic profile of the grape variety. On the palate, it is dry, soft, and persistent, harmonious and elegant.

The Sauvignon from Lis Neris is a wine that best demonstrates how the qualities of this grape variety express themselves in the Friulian territory. The municipality of San Lorenzo, where the winery is also located, is situated at the northern border of Slovenia and on the right bank of the Isonzo River to the south. The proximity to the sea and the eastern Bora winds help maintain an ideal microclimate for the grapes, which can ripen slowly and not suffer excessive stress, thanks to ideal temperature fluctuations. In this type of whites, the territorial influence brings out an unmistakable finesse, solidity, and balance between aromas and taste. The leap in quality is given by the environment and the interaction created with the vineyards.

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from the gravelly limestone plateau of the municipality of San Lorenzo, they are harvested at a perfect ripeness and in the winery, they are fermented in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The maturation of the wine lasts 8 months in steel in contact with the fine lees with frequent batonnage.

The Lis Neris Sauvignon is straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses typical varietal notes with a slight smoky nuance, hints of nettle, tomato leaf, lime, and elderflower. On the palate, it is fresh, thanks to the citrus notes that are felt on the finish, soft and pleasantly persistent. A wine with all the right cards to amaze you, enchant you, and win you over from the very first moment!
