The Sauvignon "Ronco del Cerò" is an expressive wine aged in steel tanks, rich in varietal and territorial hints. Fruity and vegetal notes such as peach, boxwood and pepper emerge on the nose. The palate is soft and dry, engaging and mineral, with good intensity and excellent balance.

The Ronco del Cerò is the intense interpretation of Sauvignon by the Venica & Venica winery. This is the surname of the two brothers, Gianni and Giorgio, founders of the agricultural company that today they manage together with their families. Giorgio, the winemaker, takes care of the work in the winery while Gianni oversees the agronomic part, without neglecting. Together they create some of the most appreciated wines of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Their activity is a family story, capable of spanning four generations, started when grandfather Daniele bought the central part of the estate in February 1930.

Since then, the synergistic relationship between the Venica family and Collio has never been interrupted, with passion and dedication today Giorgio and Gianni seek to make the best use of the different microclimates present on their lands. A complexity that gives richness to the wines of the winery that thus reach excellent quality levels, as in the case of Ronco del Cerò, the Sauvignon from the Venica house. The climate, extraordinarily suited to white grape varieties, is gently influenced by the Mediterranean currents as well as the cooler ones coming from the Alps.

These are the two faces of the splendid Sauvignon Ronco del Cerò: pleasantly soft and at the same time savory and dry. Crossed by a delicate bitter note that surprises, giving dynamism to the sip. The Sauvignon Ronco del Cerò is ideal for those who wish to discover this precious corner of Friuli, accompanying it through the Venica vineyards, where fifty microclimates create wines with a rich personality.
