The Savigny-lès-Beaune Premier Cru 'Aux Clous' from Maison Romane is a red wine from the Côte de Beaune that combines elegance and fidelity to its terroir of origin. The winery prefers to use whole bunches to give the fruit silkiness and breadth. The nose reveals ripe cherry, small red fruits, a slight spiciness and delicate floral notes, all with surprising depth. On the palate, it is harmonious, with silky tannins and a fresh mineral vein that accompanies the sip to a clean finish. It pairs naturally with Burgundy cuisine and is perfect with herb-roasted chicken with red wine sauce
