Spumante Brut di Riesling by La Palazzola is a sparkling wine pruduced according to the Traditional Method, aged on the lees for about 40 months. The bouquet is rich and fragrant, with nuance of citrus, dried fruits and herbs. The taste is very fresh and mineral, complex and tense.

The Classic Method Riesling Brut Sparkling Wine by La Palazzola immediately presents itself as a label to discover. We are in Umbria, discussing a winery that dedicates itself with creativity and consistency to the production of Classic Method. We have before us a label whose entire tasting is guided by a mineral background, both on the nose and in the mouth, where the sip is always taut, dynamic, almost inviting the repetition of the drink. A well-conceived bottle, to try when you want to go beyond the classic production areas of Italian bubbles: it will surprise you.

The Classic Method Riesling by La Palazzola is a Brut Sparkling Wine that comes from Riesling grapes grown in vineyards located near Vascigliano di Stroncone. We are about 300 meters above sea level, in a soil characterized by a clayey subsoil rich in skeleton. The must ferments in steel tanks, and then fermentation is interrupted by lowering the temperature. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle, thanks to the the presence of residual sugars, according to the production principles of Classic Method. The Sparkling Wine remains to mature for 40 months on the lees; at the end of this period, the processes of disgorgement, dosage, and bottling are carried out.

The Classic Method Riesling Brut Sparkling Wine develops in the glass with a bright golden yellow color, crossed by some slight streaks tending more towards greenish; the perlage is fine-grained and of persistent duration. The olfactory spectrum revolves around a crunchy and mineral fan, in which hints of fruit and aromatic herbs intertwine; in the finish, a characteristic hint of yeast also emerges. In the mouth, it has a good body, and the sip flows with freshness and minerality, revealing a beautiful aromaticity. A label that testifies to the winery's vocation for producing elegant bubbles.
