Spumante Rosé Brut di Nebbiolo is the creation of a young Piedmontese reality, which offers a range of Metodo Classico labels of refined elegance. The name Cuvage is the synthesis of two terms from the French tradition: Cuvée and Perlage, the source of inspiration for all the activities of the winery. The Rosé represents the label most connected to the territory. Made with pure Nebbiolo grapes, it highlights the aptitude of the great grape variety of the Langhe for sparkling wine production. The result is one of great charm and manages to combine the expressive strength typical of the grape with the pleasantness of its fruity aromas. It is recommended to try with pasta dishes with shrimp and scampi, seafood stews with tomato, or with a grilled salmon steak.
The Rosé Brut di Nebbiolo is a Metodo Classico from Cuvage, which originates from Nebbiolo vineyards cultivated in hilly areas surrounding the municipality of Barolo, at an altitude between 380 and 450 meters above sea level. The mild and breezy climate and the suitable calcareous-clay soils
allow the production of excellent quality grapes. The harvest is carried out manually and slightly in advance, in order to preserve the necessary freshness to create the base sparkling wine. The best bunches are subjected to a gentle pressing with a short contact with the skins, in order to extract color and aromas, but not tannins. The must is then vinified in white, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After a short aging, the final blending and the second fermentation take place, which occurs in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, with a stay on the lees of about 24 months before disgorgement.The Nebbiolo Rosé Brut di Cuvage is a Metodo Classico with a strong personality and a typically territorial character.
